Ardent Prime Tournament: Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Ardent Arena Tournament ("Tournament"), you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions:


1. Tournament Overview


Round 1-Seeding: October 3-11

Round 2-Play-in: October 12

Round 1-Seeding: October 13-15


Organizers: Echelon and the Community Production Team

Entry Fee: 11 PRIME

Prize Pool: 11,000 PRIME minimum


2. Registration


• Eligibility: Open to all Echelon community members on the Ardent List and special invitees.

• How to Register: have a wallet on the Ardent List and purchase an Access Pass on echelon.io/

• Registration Deadline: October 2nd 11:59pm EST

• Refunds: All proceeds from purchases are final and there will be no refunds.


3. Format


The tournament takes place over three rounds:


Round 1 - The Seed Round starts on October 3 at 5:00pm EST and concludes October 11 at 5:00pm EST. Participants compete in ranked matchmaking to earn a spot among the top 38. Players are seeded based on a proprietary calculation that factors in consistency, games played, win rate, and ladder rank. Seeds 1-30 automatically qualify for Playoffs. Seeds 31 through 38 move on to Round 2, the Play-in Tournament.


Round 2 - The Play-in Tournament takes place October 12. Seed 31 plays seed 38, seed 32 plays 37, and so on. Players must submit two decks, each from a different Parallel, before competing. Matches are best-of-three, conquest format (players must win with both decks to advance). First and second place in Round 2 qualify for the last two spots in Round 3.


Round 3 - The Playoffs take place October 13, 14, and 15. In this single-elimination tournament, seed 1 plays seed 32, seed 2 plays 31, and so on. Players must submit two decks, each from a different Parallel, before competing. Matches are best-of-three, conquest format (players must win with both decks to advance). The Grand Final is a best-of-five, where players must win with both decks but can win with one deck twice.



4. Deck Construction


• During the seeding round players can use any deck.

• During Play-in and Playoff rounds players must submit decks prior to participation.

• The decks must be from two separate parallels and can contain any mixture of NFTs and Apparitions within game limits.

• Once decks have been submitted players cannot alter their decks, even if they swapping the same card but different edition type (i.e. SE/FE). This will lead to immediate disqualification.

• Banned Cards from tournament play include: The Priming and The First Son of Mars.


5. Match Structure


• Matches are best-of-three during the play-in and play-off rounds and you must win with both decks to advance.

• The Grand Final will be best-of-five. You must win with both decks to become champion but can repeat wins with one of your decks.


6. Scoring and Standings


• During the seeding round, you will be given a ranking based on a proprietary calculation that factors in consistency, games played, win rate, and ladder rank.

• The Play-in and Play-off rounds will be bracket format and advancement can be tracked on official bracket pages.


7. Ties


• Ties during Rounds 2 & 3 will be treated as no one as won and play will continue until best-of three or in case of the Grand Final best-of-five


8. Payout


• Top 32 will win rewards and payment tiers will be based on advancement in the bracket. Top 32 will win



9. Protest and Dispute Resolution


• Any disputes or issues related to the tournament must be submitted to one of the judges before advancement of any stage of the tournament, beit round or individual matchups.

• Any matches which have concluded and have already advanced onto the next stage and subsequent matches cannot be disputed.

• The organizers' decisions on disputes are final.


10. Tournament Officials


• Coordinator: Coldplunge - will be responsible for organizing events throughout the three rounds of the tournament.

• Public Relations: Nayn - will be responsible for any media inquiries.

• Executive Producer - Metaregular - responsible for development of the tournament.

• Judges: Bhavin, Coldplunge, Nayn - Judges will be responsible for handling any disputes and will review tournament progress.


11.Disclaimers


.1 Eligibility:


• You must meet the eligibility criteria as outlined in the tournament rules to participate.

• You are responsible for ensuring that online card games are legal in your jurisdiction.


.2 Code of Conduct:


• All participants are expected to play fairly and follow the rules of the tournament.

• Cheating, exploiting bugs, or any form of unethical behavior will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal consequences.

• You are expected to maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike demeanor while participating in the tournament.

• Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.


.3 Technical Issues:


• The tournament organizers are not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to internet connectivity problems, software glitches, or hardware failures.

• In the event of a technical issue, the organizers will make reasonable efforts to resolve it, but no compensation or refunds will be provided.


.4 Privacy:


• By participating, you acknowledge that your username and game data may be publicly displayed.

• Protect your personal information and be cautious about sharing sensitive data with other participants.


.5 Streaming and Recording:


• The tournament organizers reserve the right to stream and record matches for promotional or security purposes.

• By participating, you grant the organizers permission to use such recordings.


.6. Liability:


• The tournament organizers and their affiliates are not liable for any losses, injuries, or damages incurred during the tournament.

• You participate in the tournament at your own risk.


.7 Changes and Cancellation:


• The organizers reserve the right to modify tournament rules, schedules, or cancel the tournament at their discretion.

• Participants will be notified of significant changes or cancellations.


.8 Prize Payout:


• Prize payouts will be made according to the rules outlined in the tournament information.

• Taxes or other deductions may apply, and participants are responsible for complying with tax regulations in their jurisdiction.


By participating in the Ardent Arena Tournament Tournament, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in disqualification and other consequences as determined by the tournament organizers.
